This Privacy Policy explains how CoreMCR handles information in connection with the CoreMCR desktop application and this website.
The app runs on your computer
CoreMCR is desktop software. Your video, audio, graphics, projects and recordings are processed locally on your PC. We do not receive or store your production content, and recordings are written to the location you choose on your own machine.
What we collect
- Purchase information. When you buy a licence, our payment processor handles your payment and shares with us the details needed to issue your key and invoice (such as your name, email and order details). We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Licensing. To activate a key, the app uses a machine identifier derived from your operating system (a hash — not your MAC address) to manage seats. This is used for licence validation.
- Support. If you contact us, we keep the messages and details you provide so we can help.
- Website. This site may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics and essential cookies needed for it to function.
Optional components
Some features connect to third parties only when you use them — for example streaming to a platform you configure, or downloading an optional speech model for voice detection. Those interactions are governed by the relevant third party's terms.
How we use information
To deliver and support your licence, process purchases, prevent abuse, and improve the product and website. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention and your rights
We keep purchase and licensing records for as long as needed for support, accounting and legal obligations. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information — contact us to exercise them.
